JUST A REMINDER: Tuesday, May 21st will be our Third Make-up Snow Day. SCHOOL WILL BE IN SESSION FOR ALL STUDENTS.

Superintendent Search Begins Posted On: Friday, May 10, 2013

With the formal acceptance of Dr. Lu S. Young’s resignation at our April 22, 2013 meeting, the Jessamine County Board of Education must now start the process of selecting a new superintendent. One of the first steps in this process is the establishment of a screening committee. The screening committee shall be composed of: two teachers, elected by the teachers; one board member, appointed by the board chairman; one principal, elected by the principals; one parent, elected by the presidents of the parent-teacher organizations of the district; and one classified employee, elected by the classified employees (KRS 160.352).
