Juniors Score Above Average on ACT Students show measurable improvement
For the second year in a row, Jessamine County juniors scored above the statewide average of 18.2, posting a 19.4 composite score, which was the 19th highest score of the 176 districts in the state.
This was a huge gain considering KDE showed an overall drop in composite scores for the state.
District-wide, the largest gain for Jessamine students was in math, where East High raised its score .6, up to 19.3 , West High increased .2, up to 20 and The Providence School was up .2, to 19.5.
