Jessamine County Schools Important Weather Information
It’s that time of year again! With colder weather, comes the possibility of snow, ice and inclement conditions that could cause school cancellations or early dismissals. With buses rolling as early as 6:00 a.m., the call to cancel school must be made in the early morning hours. During inclement weather, Transportation Department employees will assess road conditions by 5:00 a.m., checking city as well as rural routes. Our goal is to ensure that every student arrives to school and returns home in the safest manner possible. School cancellation will be listed on our website as soon as the decision is made.
