Welcome to East Jessamine Middle School!

The vision of East Jessamine Middle School is to equip students to be confident and creative problem-solvers who will succeed in a diverse and dynamic society. In order to achieve this vision, we have created a strategic plan with big ideas centered around a culture that promotes positive partnerships with students, families, community, and staff in order to support high levels of learning and access for all to rigorous curriculum through high-quality instruction that yields high student achievement.

We have a structured PBIS system that helps encourage positive character traits and excellence that we expect from all of our Jaguars. We have developed 6-12 grade level anchors in conjunction with East High in order to help our Jaguars be respectful, responsible, determined, and engaged. All PLC and grade level partners engage in systematic processes to analyze student data, differentiate instruction, and provide support to ensure that all students academic, behavior, and mental health needs are met. We are committed to engage all school stakeholders by building supportive relationships in order to establish a positive learning culture/environment.
