Juniors, tomorrow is the ACT. Here are a few tips that were borrowed from the high school:
- Bring a charged and working school Chromebook tomorrow.
- Take a minute to check your room assignments on Google Classroom, they are also posted outside of guidance office.
- Top 5 Reasons Give Your Best Effort on the ACT:
- This is YOUR official score and is reported to colleges and universities.
- Your score is recorded in Infinite Campus and on your transcript.
- The ACT reflects on your high school and our ranking in the state
- Any student who scores a composite of 20 or higher will earn a final exemption for this spring.
- Students who score a composite of 32 or higher will have their names added to the Academic Wall of Fame.
- Top 5 Test Taking Tips:
- Answer every question, leave none blank, even if you have to guess.
- Don't rush- read each question carefully.
- Pace yourself- don't spend too much time on a question. If you can't figure it out, move on and come back to it.
- Use the answer options to help you narrow down your selection- some will be obviously incorrect.
- Review the questions BEFORE reading a passage or looking at a chart, to know what you are looking for ahead of time.
