Hello EJMS Family and Friends -
We hope that everyone had a great first four-day week back at school. Now we're ready for a full week and as usual, there's a lot going on. Buene suerte, удачі, good luck to our multilingual learners who will be completing the ACCESS testing over the next couple of weeks. This week, 8th graders will be going to JCTC to explore more about what high school will look like for them and that exploration will be continuing in the following weeks as well. We've also got player evaluations and tryouts for spring sports starting up, so lots to do at EJMS. Find out about all of that and more in this week's edition of our school newsletter. After today, our students will have officially completed their winter i-Ready diagnostics and are bringing home a goal-setting reflection sheet to share with their families. This sheet helps students reflect on their winter scores, celebrate growth, and set new goals as they move forward in their learning journey! There are resources at the bottom of the page for our EJMS tutoring opportunities through the Power Academy and additional at-home family resources! Scan the QR code on your student's sheet to get more information!
Families, we encourage you to take a few minutes to review the sheet together, talk about progress, and help your student set meaningful goals for the months ahead. When school and home work together, big growth happens! 🐆💙💚

The weather has kept us out of school lately, but it won't keep us from spreading holiday cheer tomorrow night! Coming to a neighborhood near you, the first annual Jingle with Jaguars is happening from 6:00-7:30 PM ! We look forward to seeing you and singing with you!
