From Mrs. Jones: "In our Health class, we had an eye-opening experience experimenting with fatal vision goggles while driving a golf cart with our SRO, Officer Kemp. The goggles simulated the impairments caused by alcohol consumption, allowing us to understand how even small amounts can significantly affect our coordination and reaction times. As we navigated the golf cart through cones, it became clear how dangerous impaired driving can be. This hands-on activity heightened our awareness of alcohol and reinforced the importance of making responsible choices to ensure safety for ourselves and others."
Great job providing real world applications and experiences for our students, Mrs. Jones! You make us #proudtoroar
