Hello EJMS Family and Friends - It's finally starting to feel like spring. Even saw some daffodils blooming this weekend! We hope that you're enjoying the extra daylight as well. We've got another busy week ahead at EJMS - with soccer in full swing and softball gearing up. We'll say goodbye to our eighth graders mid-week as they travel to Washington DC and represent our school well in the nation's capital. Check out what else is happening, some celebrations, and other opportunities for you and your students to get involved in this week's edition.

Yesterday, Sources of Strength peer leaders had the opportunity to serve at Warner Elementary for Read Across America Day. They led literacy activities with elementary students, acting as mentors while modeling healthy activities like reading and teamwork. Anytime students can take what they learn at school and apply it in the real world, it’s exciting to see them succeed. We’re thankful to Warner Elementary for giving our students the opportunity to show their leadership and grow their confidence!

Hello EJMS Family and Friends - It's been great to get back in the swing of things with several weeks in a row without cancellations or delays. We look forward to another "regular" week at EJMS with lots going on as usual. 7th grade had a great time in Charleston. Next week, we'll be sending our 8th graders to Washington DC and in between there are volleyball and soccer games, Beta state convention, and all sorts of opportunities to participate in our school community for you and your students. Check out some of those in this week's Jaguar Weekly.

Mrs. Martin’s class had a wonderful time out in the community during our CBI trip to Giovanni's Pizza! Students enjoyed a great meal alongside Mr. Pickerill, our amazing peer tutors, and dedicated related service providers who joined the fun. Experiences like these help build confidence, independence, and real-world connections. We are so thankful for Giovanni’s continued support as a valued community partner who helps make meaningful learning opportunities possible. Proud to learn, grow, and ROAR together!
