Our cheerleaders & dance team will be performing, recognition of our Girls softball, basketball and volleyball teams! Plus a special performance by one of our student athletes singing the National Anthem. Fun filled night you will not want to miss! See you there!!! #proudtoroar !! 🚨
Admission $5 or bring 2 canned goods to donate!!
**All canned donations will go to our local Jessamine County Kiwanis Club.

Hello EJMS Family and Friends - It is finally starting to feel more like fall and with that nip in the air comes boys basketball. Beginning this week with Jaguar Madness on Thursday. Then there's the first school dance this Friday for our Neon Rodeo. We're also joining with the other schools in our district led by a class of third graders from Rosenwald-Dunbar to raise money for helping orphan children in Malawi, Africa with the Jessamine Cares Change Challenge this week. Today is National Boss Day and we have the BEST ONE EVER! Thank you, Mr. Pickerill, for all you do for EJMS. You go above and beyond, each day, to ensure that our staff and students have all they need to be successful. We are thankful for you today and every day. Lots of fun happenings in the week leading up to Fall Break! Students in Health class learned about healthy foods and healthy snacks! We celebrated our amazing custodians! The High School marching band performed for the middle school band! And Friday was full of fun with our first club day!! Now it's fall break! #proudtoroar

iReady, you Ready, 6th and 7th grade Ready! Congratulations to our 6th and 7th grade teams for reaching their iReady goals of 3,000 lessons passed by Fall Break! Great work students and teachers!
Each day this week, Mr and Mrs. G will be selling temporary tattoos! After purchase, you choose which teacher you want to represent your tattoo choice! On Friday, all participating teachers will be decked out in the tattoos the students chose for them! Tattoos range from $1 to $7. All proceeds go towards the students going to Festival Disney in the spring!

We've got swim team tryouts and a XC meet and a football game, then we'll end the week with our long-anticipated PowderPuff tournament and the first session for school clubs. It's going to be a fun week at EJMS and we hope it's a great one for you! And then....enjoy fall break. We'll see you with a new edition of the EJMS Jaguar Weekly in two weeks!
