Congratulations to all of our athletes who represented East Middle in the 2025 Kentucky Middle School Track and Field State Championships this past Saturday! We had 11 athletes qualify in multiple different events. Sophie Ulis received a medal for placing 8th in the High Jump and Ira Robinson received a medal for placing 8th in the Triple Jump. Way to represent East everybody!

We've made it! It is the last week of school for the 2024-2025 school year! As usual, we have a lot going on this week, so check that out. Also be aware of summer hours at EJMS: the office is open 9 AM - 1 PM on the following days
July 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th (Mondays and Tuesdays) and by appointment only July 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st (Thursdays). Have a great week and a wonderful summer break! We will see you in August!

8th grade parents - we are going to continue with the plan to have our 8th grade recognition tomorrow (Friday, May 16th). We will be adjusting the time to 5:30-7:30 due to the threat of potential severe weather later in the evening. We have a rain plan that we will share if necessary tomorrow afternoon. Looking forward to seeing all of our 8th grade families to celebrate the students!

Due to low attendance at our first night of dance team clinics this evening, a rare exception has been made for those who would like to join us starting on day 2 for Dance team clinics tomorrow after school from 4-6 in the gym. No former training is necessary; only an interest in performing and school pride. Our routines consist of various genres including pom, jazz, and hip hop. Please bring an updated sports physical, and signed forms from the try out packet available in the front office.
