This week we are shining the brightest Jaguar spotlight on Lynn Byers, the heart and hands behind our FRYSC! 🐾💙💚
Lynn works tirelessly behind the scenes (and in front of them!) to make sure our students and families have what they need to thrive — whether that’s connecting families to resources, organizing support, celebrating milestones, or stepping in quietly when someone needs a little extra care.
Her compassion, organization, and servant leadership make a lasting impact on our entire school community. She doesn’t just support families — she builds relationships, removes barriers, and makes sure every child feels seen and supported.
Lynn, thank you for being such a steady, giving, and powerful presence for our students and families. We are so grateful for you and the way you help our Jaguars roar a little louder every day! 🐆✨ #proudtoroar
8th grade Sources of Strength, Peer Leaders were excited to be back to school today to get a head start on kindness week, February 13th-20th!
During Kindness Week, all students and staff receive a handwritten, personalized kindness gram from Sources of Strength leaders. This is one of our favorite projects during Kindness Week, going 7 years strong! ♥️

Monday, February 2, will be a snow day for JCS.
Despite the amazing efforts of our custodial, maintenance, and transportation crews this past week & weekend, the efforts of hard working snow removal companies that assisted in clearing lots, and a WHOLE lot of hope - we are, unfortunately, not able to return to school today! Many roads and sidewalks are still covered in snow and ice. Today is a snow day and will be made up at the end of the school year.
We are hopeful that with slightly warmer temps and sunshine tomorrow, we may see improvement.
Coaches & sponsors will be in communication with students about events and activities.

🥅 Boys Soccer Roster has been posted
⚽️ Girls Soccer Tryouts Rescheduled for Feb. 6th
⚾️ Baseball final optional eval 1/31 @ EJHS Hitting Facility between 11:30-1:30
🥎 Softball tryouts will be rescheduled for next week as soon as we can confirm a time.
