Head to EJMS to see Alice in Wonderland: Urban Edition! Tickets are sold online using the QR code, or at the door!

Boo Grams on sale next week! Each day in the cafeteria we will be selling Boo Grams! Students pay $1 to get a postcard and a small bag of candy! They can choose to send it to their friends or teachers! All proceeds go back into the Culture Committee fund to provide other opportunities for staff and students!

EJMS is joining with other schools in our district to celebrate October as Jessamine Cares Month. The Jessamine Cares Initiative was begun by a class of third graders last spring and works to collect money to help children all around the world. This week, we will participate in a Change Challenge collecting money to donate to orphaned children in Malawi, Africa to help them with food, education, and farming. Students can bring in change as well as cash and place it in their grade level jars in the cafeteria during breakfast or lunch. Come pack the Jungle this Thursday on one of your favorite nights of the year to meet your 2025-26 EJMS Boys Basketball team!!

Our cheerleaders & dance team will be performing, recognition of our Girls softball, basketball and volleyball teams! Plus a special performance by one of our student athletes singing the National Anthem. Fun filled night you will not want to miss! See you there!!! #proudtoroar !! 🚨

Then there's the first school dance this Friday for our Neon Rodeo. We're also joining with the other schools in our district led by a class of third graders from Rosenwald-Dunbar to raise money for helping orphan children in Malawi, Africa with the Jessamine Cares Change Challenge this week.
