Tomorrow is dress as your favorite character!

Time for our staff recognitions for this month! Our Data Diver award goes to Mrs. Areaux, one of our 7th grade ELA teachers. Mrs. Areaux is so skilled in understanding exactly where her students are and plans her instruction accordingly!

Hello EJMS Family and Friends -
We have made it to the last week of 2023 at EJMS! It has been such a good year so far and as we close out the semester, we hope you'll take time to share the good things with us. One way to do that is with a staff shoutout, which you can do in our newsletter this week. It's spirit week again, we have field trips, and a big basketball game and so much more going on this week! Check it out in this week's edition of the EJMS Jaguar Weekly.

We are so proud of our Knights Team Rally winners! From success in the classroom to representing the spirit of East, our Knights are going above and beyond.

Please see attached photo for volleyball results.

Our staff took a moment to pause and just enjoy being together this afternoon at our annual holiday party. A great time was had by all!

We had a very successful first day of iReady testing! We are excited about seeing so much growth in our students. Don't forget to have your chromebooks fully charged so we can continue tomorrow in reading!!

Congratulations to our November Students of the Month! These Jags were selected by their teachers for being consistently engaged and we are so proud of them!

SRO Kemp visited 8th grade Social Studies to talk about constitutional amendments on Friday!

We were so excited to welcome back Devine Carama to EJMS today. Ask your student about what they thought of his presentation! 7th and 8th graders heard about the Power of Words and 6th graders learned what it looks like to be a leader in their environments, starting today. You'll notice Devine representing the Eastside well in his swag!
