Hello EJMS Family and Friends - It was great to see many of you at our parent/teacher conference day. This is one of the opportunities for fulfilling both the parent and school parts of our family/school compact to stay in touch and engage in two-way communication about student progress and success. Please continue to let your students' teachers know about any questions or concerns you may have and we'll do the same from our end. Since we have a short week of school this week, we have combined this half week and next week in this edition of the Jaguar Weekly. Also, please note that this is a live document, so it may change and be further updated as we move into next week. Enjoy this week and a half edition: https://secure.smore.com/n/028hc

Today, our 8th graders had the incredible opportunity to listen to Geoff Baggett's captivating presentation, "Revolutionary War in a Trunk"! 🎩📜 They dived into the fascinating stories and artifacts that bring history to life. History isn't just in books—it's in our hands! 💥🇺🇸 Thank you to Kentucky Humanities for coordinating this visit! What a great way to end another fun and exciting week at EJMS!

Mrs. Martin & Mrs. Groves helped their students make real-world connections by hosting a debate in their classroom today! At the end of the debate, students voted for who they thought should be the next principal. They were initially tied 4-4, but a tie breaker determined Mrs. Martin as the winner! It was a fun experience for all. #proudtoroar 💚🐆💙
